Summaries and Customer Reviews are supplied by Amazon.com Great common sense book The best book I have read on the mental side of golf. It's a bit out of date with it's references but this doesn't make any difference to the quality of the information. You'll recognise lots of things you do on the golf course (which you probably already knew about) but this book helps you change the way you approach the game which eventaully helps you play better and enjoy it more. The mental game of golf This is a quite excellent book. I thoroughly recommend it to all golfers of every level. Although he uses PGA Tour golf experiences to illustrate his points, they are relevant to us all. I recommend not trying to take all the ideas to the course at once, but some very good ones can be used straight away. Then it has to be a gradual process - not fully complete by me yet! Golfing waffle I was disappointed in this book and it just smacks of Bob Rotella making a quick buck out of us poor golfers whose games are never going to improve significantly.
He could have condensed much of what he says into a smaller cheaper paperback.
Every golfer should read this This is a great book and it has certainly changed the way i play golf.I reading this book i realised i had been playing the game all wrong for the last 25 yrs.I certainly enjoy the game more and dont get stressed out if i hit a bad shot.It is a must read for every golfer. Change the way you think I'm a very average Golfer and no amount of swing coaching will make any difference. What is great about this book is how it made me think about situations differently to what I used to. Its not just a golf book - without realising it you will be learning about psychology as well. I'd recommed this to any golfer or sports person.
