A Book handy to have on your shelf

I had followed the series and the book wasn`t a dissapointment, once you have all the ingredients and have them ready to hand it literally takes minutes to cook each meal.I must admit I did tweak and add extra ingredients such as onions to the Chicken, green pepper and black bean sauce but the book is a good basic guide to Chinese cooking.

Excellent cookbook

I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Chinese cooking. I was so surprised at how easy it was to get a taste similar to that of an Asian restaurant standard. What's best is that the cooking is done in the confines of your own home and therefore you know what's going in to the preparation.

Coming from an Asian background and now residing in Australia, I love Chinese food and missed being able to just venture a few metres from my home, down to the local hawker centre and ordering a dish of Chinese delicacies. Now, Ching-He Huang has brought Asia to my home. Thank you, Ching :-)

Chinese Food in Minutes (2009) is a more recent publication to Chinese Food Made Easy (2008). I like the fact that in the recent publication, preparation and cooking timings have been included in the titles. This helps me to select recipes easily, based on the amount of time that I have to spare or to plan ahead.

In both her books, her recipes are simple and easy to comprehend.

To conclude, if you love Chinese Food, then I would highly recommend that you add this book to your shopping cart and purchase this either for yourself or as a gift.

Happy Cooking.

I have never really got on with Chinese food but this book has totally changed my opinion. The recipes ARE simple and delicious. It's just a question of deciding which dish to do next.

I got Ching's Chinese Food made easy , but to be honest didn't really make anything from it tho I really enjoyed the tv series. I was surfing the programmes last sunday and came across he r latest series, and the 2 recipes she made were wonderful. I tracked one down on the internet, and made it that night. It was delicious! So I sent for this book. I have done 3 recipes this week and they are all wonderful! I shall make an expedition to York to the chinese supermarket to stock up next week!
This is such an improvement on her other book, I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Brilliant, easy to follow!

Watched TV series and decided I had to get the book. Recipes are easy to follow and it's good to have photos of how they should look when finished! So far I've tried four different ones and they've all turned out really well. My favourite recipes (so far) are the Juicy Chilli Chicken with Cashew Nuts and the Griddled Yellow Bean Pork. Yum! If you like Chinese food and always wanted it to taste authentic, then this is the book for you!
