I needed to find a phrase book to replace the one I had which was over 30 years old - so this one satisfied our more up to date needs (internet, cash machines). Having used it on a visit to relatives in Sweden, it was not very good with some common words just not available (e.g. aunt). The CD was better than the cassette tape 30 years ago, but included things I was really not interested in while other phrases in the book would have been more useful.

Excellent phrase book with everyday phrases which are commonly used by tourists but beware of the standard postage charge as this makes it more expensive than the cover price far too high for such a small book.In future I will check this before making any further purchases from Amazon.

This is as good as it gets, not as in debt as a language course but functional for a holiday or taster before learning the language.

Not a bad little book, but at my time of life learning another language is very difficult. However, it covers the main phrases you're likely to need!
